CBS Chicago’s “What Caught My Eye” segment highlighted the inaugural FECK Awards, created by Chaz Ebert to celebrate people who exemplify forgiveness, empathy, compassion, and kindness. Reporter Suzanne Le Mignot said she was especially moved by honoree Azim Khamisa, who transformed personal tragedy into a mission of forgiveness and youth violence prevention after his son was killed in 1995.
